Trisha’s Salon staff was in attendance when Raylon’s President Josh Hafetz opened up the Enduring Elegance Cut & Color Show Monday October 25th 2010 at the Valley Forge Radisson King of Prussia, PA. The show featured on stage Mike Karg & Jo Blackwell sharing their latest haircut & haircolor techniques and their secrets of being a successful hairstylist. Some of the specialized instruction was on the art of dry haircutting by Mike Karg.
Jo Blackwell is a New York premier hair colorist and owner of the Dop Dop Salon So Ho, New York. She is internationally known for her playful and creative approach. Mike Karg is internationally known as a celebrity hairstylist and award winning platform artist , eclectic educator & spokesperson. Mike is famous for what he doesn’t do: follow fads, create overdone looks or fail to ignite a room with passion. His philophy: “Enhance what is natural and have some fun” Mike also has his own highly successful line of haircutting & dry haircutting shears which Trisha purchased at the show. We really enjoyed both artists and took away many new techniques for haircutting & hair coloring and look forward to seeing them on stage next year.
